What’s a Lori Jobe Photography Session Like?

What’s a Lori Jobe creative portrait session like?
Fun!

No, I mean really…what’s it like?
Super fun!

Details?
Oh, you want details! Well, a lot depends on the type of session you book.  Family portraits are going to roll out quite a bit differently than a publicity shoot.  Engagement sessions are going to be totally different than boudoir sessions – unless you two are into that sort of thing.   A child’s 1st birthday party is going to be much different than a wedding shoot.  Really…it’s all about you.   I like to get people to interact.  My favorite images are about people and about how they are in real life.  I like those images much better than stiff, posed, & unnatural photographs.  I won’t make you say “Cheese”, but you can if you must.   I know that Grandma wants a nice formal family picture to put on her piano, and that’s okay.  We can do that too.  A Lori Jobe photo session is all about YOU and all the energy, life and emotion that comes with you.

WARNING:  I am not a “fly-on-the-wall” photographer.  Whatever I’m shooting, from portrait sessions to weddings, I am right there with you, in the middle of it all, catching the action, the reactions, and the heart.

But no matter what kind of session you are booking, or how we decide to play it out, there are a few things you can depend on:
It may take you a little bit to really loosen up in front of the camera. That’s OK.  We are going to work on that together.
I will be taking A LOT of pictures. I encourage wardrobe changes and location variations.  That way we end up with a variety of amazing images to choose from. It’s okay to be creative; it’s okay to be silly.  Don’t worry…I sort through all the shots before so you only have to see the good ones.

Remember:

•    – There will be a lot of laughing.
•    – It will be fun.
